Meet Sandy, Founder of Callie

Sandy Harris has always been drawn to making things by hand. With a background in fine art and a lifelong love of sewing — a skill first taught to her by her mom — quilting became a natural extension of her creative practice. It combined everything she cares about: art, craft, heritage, and meaningful connection.
Today, Sandy designs and crafts Callie, blending traditional techniques with bold, distinctive designs. What makes the journey even more special is that her mom, Carolyn Harris, now works alongside her in production — a full‑circle moment that reflects the spirit of quilting itself: family, community, and shared creativity.
